PC Game Review: Prototype

Prototype is an action-adventure game published by Activision and developed by Radical Entertainment.

In this game we play as Alex Mercer, a shape-shifter with no memory of his past. Alex has the ability to absorb other people, taking on their biomass, memories, experiences, and physical forms.

His ability to shape-shifting allowing him to change his body parts into weapon or shield. This ability is not unlocked from the beginning of the game, but player must unlock them trough purchase using Evolution Point [EP].

There's a lot of way to collect EP, such as completing missions, finishing challenges, killing mutated person, destroying vehicles on the street or destroying Military Bases and Hives around the city.

By upgrading, we can also unlock some abilities to control vehicles such as tanks or helicopter. And used that vehicles to destroy any other things.

There are various challenge to complete, from gliding to the right spot to destroying mutant hives. On some challenges, you can be asked to help the military to get rid of the mutant or kill them with their own weapon. On other challenge, you're asked to infiltrate military base to consume their leader.

Basically, if you like to destroy things or killing peoples in video games, the you probably going to like this game. you can almost kill anyone and destroy almost anything moving inside the city of Manhattan.

But, I think the downside of this game is this game storyline. Alex want to know how he got into all that mess, and by doing some mission he trying to find what's the reason for all of this. It's not outstanding storyline.
